NCVS 30-55

“New Age gargoyle trilingual lowriders, swamp art spaces.” Pg 32
The way this sentence is written catches the reader’s eye. It makes you think twice about what he is trying to day. New Age gargoyle is an oxymoron. When I think of gargoyles I think of old, old buildings. New Age is very much the opposite of old buildings. They rest of this sentence really makes no sense to me and just appears to be random words. Does he put them together to get your attention? Or does he purposely want you to just go right over them.

“Man goes women…… When he comes home & kisses the one he loves.” Pg 55
The rest of the quotes in this poem are about men taking over jobs that are stereotypically things that women do. This last quote though is very different. It kind of implies that men shouldn’t do that witch makes no sense.
